Middle Tennessee Mediation Services, LLC · Effective July 28, 2026 ·
Last updated July 28, 2026
This policy is written to support Apple App Store and Google Play
disclosure requirements for
Go Food Fight, and also
covers this company website. Product-specific pages also live at
gofoodfight.com/privacy.html.
Middle Tennessee Mediation Services, LLC (“we”, “us”, “our”), a
Tennessee limited liability company, operates this website
(midtennmediation.com) and the Go Food Fight mobile application and
related websites (together, the “Services”). This Privacy Policy
explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how
long we keep it, who we share it with, and how you can access or delete
it.
Contact / privacy inquiries:
support@gofoodfight.com
(Go Food Fight) or
admin@midtennmediation.com
(mediation practice / this website).
1. Scope
This policy applies to:
- Visitors to midtennmediation.com
-
Users of the Go Food Fight iOS and Android apps and gofoodfight.com
- People who email us for support or consultation
2. Information we collect
A. Go Food Fight app
-
Contact information — email address.
Provided when you create an account with email, or shared by Apple or
Google when you use Sign in with Apple or Google. Used to operate your
account and send transactional account messages (verification,
password reset, account deletion). Your email is not shown to other
people in your party.
-
Identifiers — account / user ID.
A technical identifier created for your account so we can authenticate
you and associate sessions, swipes, and settings with you.
-
User content — display name.
The name you choose at first sign-in. It is visible to other members
of parties you join.
-
Location — coarse (approximate) location, foreground only.
When you host a session, we use your approximate location
once to find nearby restaurants. Joiners are not asked for location.
We do not collect precise location, and we do not collect location in
the background.
-
Diagnostics — crash and service logs.
Crash reports and basic operational logs used to keep the service
reliable. We configure crash tooling to avoid capturing authentication
secrets (for example, token-bearing WebSocket URLs).
-
App activity within a session.
Party membership, swipes/votes, and match outcomes needed to run a
group decision session.
B. This website (midtennmediation.com)
-
Contact details you voluntarily send by email (for example, a
consultation request)
-
Standard web / CDN logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) used for
security, abuse prevention, and reliability
3. What we do not collect
- Precise or background location
- Your device contacts, photos library, or microphone
- Advertising identifiers for ads targeting
- Payment card data in the MVP (the app is free)
We do not sell personal
information. We do
not show third-party ads
or use advertising trackers in Go Food Fight.
4. How we use information
- Create and secure accounts; send transactional account email
- Run group dining sessions (invite, swipe, match)
- Find nearby restaurants for a host’s chosen search area
- Provide support and respond to mediation / website inquiries
- Maintain security, prevent abuse, and diagnose crashes
- Comply with law and enforce our Terms
5. Sharing / service providers
We share personal information only with processors who help us operate
the Services, under instructions that limit use to providing those
services:
-
Amazon Web Services (AWS)
— hosting, authentication infrastructure, databases, email delivery
-
Google Maps Platform —
nearby restaurant search and photos (restaurant content is subject to
Google’s terms and privacy policy)
-
Apple / Google — if you
choose Sign in with Apple or Google, those providers authenticate you
under their policies
-
Crash reporting provider
— diagnostics (initially a hosted crash service; may later move to
self-hosted tooling in our AWS account)
We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and
safety, or in connection with a corporate transaction involving our
business, subject to appropriate safeguards.
6. Retention
-
Go Food Fight sessions
expire 24 hours after creation. Session data becomes inaccessible at
expiry; automated cleanup that permanently removes expired session
data may lag expiry by a few days.
-
Account data (email,
display name, user ID) is kept until you delete your account. Account
deletion is an active deletion process — it does not wait for
session TTL cleanup.
-
Crash diagnostics are
kept only as long as needed to diagnose issues, subject to the
provider’s retention settings.
-
Website / email inquiries
are kept as needed to respond and for ordinary business records.
-
CDN / security logs are
retained for a limited period for security and operations.
7. Your choices and account deletion
You can decline location permission; hosting a session that needs nearby
restaurants will require approximate location. You can stop using the
app at any time.
Deleting your Go Food Fight account
(Apple App Store Guideline 5.1.1(v) / Google Play account deletion
requirements):
Each sign-in method (email, Apple, Google) currently creates its own
account. If you signed in more than one way, delete each account you
created.
8. Children
Go Food Fight is intended for users
13 years of age and older.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information,
contact us and we will take steps to delete it. The app is not directed
to children under 13 and is not designed for Google Play’s Families
policy.
9. Security
We use industry-standard safeguards appropriate to the Services,
including encryption in transit (HTTPS / TLS) for app and website
traffic. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
10. International users
We primarily operate in the United States. If you access the Services
from another country, you understand that your information may be
processed in the United States, where laws may differ from those in your
country.
11. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the updated
policy on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes
will be highlighted by updating the effective date on this page.
